At Design Services NW, we believe that in order to be successful we must fully understand the clients needs, desires, and lifestyle. Our collaborative approach to design with each client ensures that we create a home that reflects their lifestyle and becomes a sanctuary that embraces and enriches their daily living. We are dedicated to balancing aesthetic design and functionality within budget needs. Our process helps ensure that all of these goals are meet and that every client is excited with the end result!
PROGRAMMING
The initial step of our process is communication and meetings. For us to best understand your unique wants and needs we meet and discuss how to work together to find the best solution that is personal to you. We utilize digital idea books and a proprietary questionnaire to determine your exact needs, wants and budget.
SITE EVALUATION
For every project, we personally visit your site. This allows us to determine the optimal. placement and orientation of the home to maximize views, integrate within topography, balance sun and shade, and coordinate with landscape features.
DESIGN
In this stage of our process, the floor plans and exterior or your home is designed. We meet together to review the design and make modifications until it meets your satisfaction. We utilize the latest CAD technology to easily make modifications to the design and to visualize the exterior and interior of the home in 3D color.
CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS
We meticulously prepare detailed construction documents so that bids from contractors are accurate and complete as well as to ensure your project will be constructed smoothly and on budget. The design is value engineered to make the best and most economical use of all resources. And we ensure that your plans are thoroughly checked prior to beginning the construction process.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT
After the construction documents are complete and once construction begins we provide technical support by answering any questions you or your contractor may have. This ensures that your home is constructed as designed and to your satisfaction.
